A team of anaesthetists is working under the guidance of Dr. Dr. Chiteshwar Singh Walia, Dr. Zorawar Singh Bhatia & Dr. Rajneesh Salwan. This team is working dedicatedly since the inception of the hospital.
In Operation Theatres, more than 5000 patients are subjected to Anaesthesia (anaesthetic drug)every year out of which more than 800 patients are from pediatric age group. Concept of day care surgery is inculcated in which patients are operated in the morning & sent back in the evening. Special anaesthetic techniques practiced are :- NERVE BLOCKS, COMBINED SPINAL EPIDERMAL, PAEDIATRIC REGIONAL ANAESTH ESIA.
